heard this for the first time in Luca C & Brigante’s RA podcast last week and it has been getting bumped on the reg since then. It’s everything a collaboration between John Martyn and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry (W T F) could possibly be and more with some slippery watery grrrrroooovvvezzz. The kind of song you listen to on loop for an hour.
obligatory jam of moment haven’t updated the tumblr in a month or so update.
the closest approximation of the sounds I hear in my head that probably exists in this material world.

This song came up in the middle of my iPod’s heroic 25 tracks straight without a single skip shuffle session yesterday and it was truly the highlight. It’s an instrumental italo disco track from 1984 called “Dancing on the Beach.” It is smooth as fuck and dare I say even a tad balearic? It might just be the song title fucking w/ me there tho. Listen to it so your life will be better than it was before hearing it.
I felt like making a list so here is one that I just made.
1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis, 1992)
2. Grand Theft Auto IV (Xbox 360, 2008)
3. Doom (PC/32X, 1994)
4. Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (Game Boy, 1993)
5. Deadly Premonition (Xbox 360, 2010)
6. Super Mario 64 (N64, 1996)
7. Earthbound (SNES, 1995)
8. Fallout 3 (Xbox 360, 2008)
9. Toejam & Earl (Sega Genesis, 1991)

This was my go to RIP MJ jam 2 years ago. Why not revisit it today? It’s very good! 1 of the best remixes ever.
